Influencing Politicians

I seem to be on a TED kick. It must be the 50+ videos I have queued.



Letter formula:
Paragraph 1: Show your appreciation, even if it's just appreciation for having a hard job.
Paragraph 2: Get to the point. Don't attack the person, attack his tactics.
Paragraph 3: Provide a fix.
Paragraph 4: Offer to help.
Sign it with your title to demonstrate that you can help with his influence and personal perservation.

Finally, mail the original to the district office and a copy to the main office to get your letter into the politician's actual to-do pile.
