Carbon-monoxide alarms now mandatory in all homes
The goal is to reduce deaths -- there were 92 in Minnesota from 2002 to 2006 -- from the colorless, tasteless, odorless gas.
92 deaths over 5 years. That's an average of 18.4 out of 5 million!
That's an annual fatality rate of 0.000368%. What the hell is the point of legislating something like that?
Dammit! I want my government back!
