$2 million?

Honestly, what's a $2 million settlement? You know how that would affect my life, day-to-day?

It's not like I'm gonna get on a payment plan that would pay it off before my great grandkids die of old age.

There's no way that judgment is based on actual damages, or even projected/estimated damages. That's a jury that bought some BS about teaching kids a lesson, or something.

Are they gonna bump the minimum penalties for shoplifting to match? Steal 2 cds, get fined your entire life's income?
