Glasses, again
I received the rimless glass I ordered fro Optical4Less. Once again, they are apparently perfect in every way. I couldn't be more pleased.
The semi-rimless. glasses I got from Zenni, aren't tough enough to survive being thrown on a tile floor by a two-year-old being held 7 feet in the air by her uncle. What a shock. They chipped a bit.

Glasses Update
I got the glasses from EyeBuyDirect.
They suck.
The quality is fine, but I(very much) overestimated how small I could go on the frame width. That's not a mark against EBD, just not terribly useful glasses for me.

Glasses update
I have received the glasses I ordered from Zenni on Monday. The quality is excellent, the fit is perfect, and the lenses are clear.
They don't have a reputation for great customer service, but, honestly, I don't need customer service, if their quality is like this.
Money well spent.

Glasses
I have decided I want some backup glasses, in case the current pair breaks.
When you are shopping for glasses and the pricetags are hovering between $20 and $40, it becomes easy to buy more pairs of glasses than are actually necessary.
I ordered semi-rimless glasses from Zenni for $17.90, shipped.
I ordered rimless glasses from Optical4Less for $42.30, shipped.
I ordered small, metal framed glasses from EyeBuyDirect for $17.21, shipped.
I'll be updating when they arrive, the quality, and a comparison to the Goggles4U glasses I bought a few months ago.

Glasses Update
Update to this post.
I got both pairs of glasses in about 2 weeks. One regular pair, and one pair of sunglasses, both with bendy frames.
Unfortunately, the regular glasses had the lenses ground incorrectly. Apparently, the focal point was off. This was causing a 'ripple' effect in my peripheral vision, made my feet seem to far away(which made for occasionally interesting episodes on various staircases), and left me with a fair amount of eye strain, which got worse if I tried taking of my glasses to read.
So I emailed Goggles4U.
This is there response:
In less than 2 weeks, I had the replacement pair. There was no hesitation, no quibbling, just good customer service. That's approximately $25 for a pair of glasses with the UV and anti-scratch coating, bendy frames, a hard glasses case, and excellent customer service.
I will not hesitate to buy from them again, or recommend them to my friends.

Glasses
Followup to this post.
I did a bunch of research, price comparisons, and droning-on regarding online eyeglass purchases. I spent some time here, reading reviews.
Goggles 4U has had some recent problems, but they also had the style I wanted, in frames that fit my face, for a price I was willing to pay. So, I'm gambling that they have fixed their recent issues, and if they haven't, they do still have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

New Glasses
I've had my current glasses for about 6 years. I've noticed lately that I can't read the TV from across the room without squinting, so I'm getting my eyes checked next week. It's time to get fitted for new glasses.
With that, this is going to save me a ton of money.
