I got into an argument with a coworker yesterday. Said coworker has a severe case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. Bush is now an 'off-limits' topic at work.

However, his major points, refuted:

1. We're in Iraq for oil.
1a. Why bother?
Oil imports last year:

Jun-07 Jul-07 Aug-07 Sep-07 Oct-07 Nov-07

All Countries
405,019 423,988 421,565 409,164 401,452 395,853

Persian Gulf
71,171 65,061 67,295 70,004 64,376 68,431

2. Bush lied Iraqi ties to Al Qaeda:
2a. Not a master/servant relationship, but definitely "ties".

3. Bush lied about WMDs.
3a. EVERYBODY thought Saddam either had or was trying to get WMDs. And, surprise, he was trying to get them. And he was lying about having them, pretending he did. And he used to have them, and used them against his own people.

Finally, when you are reduced to using "Bullshit, STFU" as your only remaining argument, I have to take that as a concession. (You lose)
